A Simple Vision…
Community rugby is at the heart and soul of rugby in the UK. Every week of the rugby season thousands of men, women and children take to fields the length and breadth of the country to enjoy rugby at all levels, supported by an army of coaches, referees, volunteers and supporters. The Vees are committed to playing their part in fostering a lifelong love of the game through our minis & Juniors and have a loyal group of coaches and volunteers that make that happen every Sunday.
Our vision is simple, to grow and develop our club to offer more people of all shapes, sizes and playing abilities the opportunity to access competitive Rugby.
We want to be a modern club, that encourages people not just to play the game but to be part of something special to encourage participation in activities on and off the field and to be at the centre of our community.
The next steps in our journey mean we will focus on:
Growing playing numbers for our Senior teams to compete and gain promotion
Establish a dedicated playing area and enhanced facilities for our Mini’s Section
Enhance our Juniors by gaining sponsorship and creating more of an experience for teenagers at the club
Improve our club facilities for our members to make a more welcoming space for our members and for others in the community to access and benefit from
This will require the participation and support from all across the club. Our current committee have done an amazing job to keep the club moving forward now it needs ideas and vision from those that will be the future of the club to ensure it continues to grow for another 70 years
