Community rugby is at the heart and soul of rugby in the UK. Every week of the rugby season thousands of men, women and children take to fields the length and breadth of the country to enjoy rugby at all levels, supported by an army of coaches, referees, volunteers and supporters. The Vees are committed to playing their part in fostering a lifelong love of the game through our loyal group of coaches and volunteers that make that happen every week.
We have a great club with a proud history. Our club has embraced the ethos and codes of practice set out by the RFU and since 2005 we have grown to include mini & junior rugby with to over 250 turning out each week for the club. Kids of all ages, shapes and ability everyone has been welcome at the club and we have reasons to be proud to be part of such a warm and inclusive club.
At the Vee’s we embrace the RFU’s TREDS system. Team Work, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. It underpins our actions on and off the field and binds the teams and the volunteers to want the best for our club.
