RFU CHAIR ENGAGEMENT TOUR

As mentioned in his open letter to the game, Sir Bill Beaumont, Interim Chair of the RFU Board will be undertaking a nationwide tour to meet RFU member clubs, CBs and referee society representatives in January and February. 

He will be joined at these meetings by Bill Sweeney, RFU Chief Executive Officer, Rob Udwin, RFU President, Steve Grainger, Executive Director of Rugby Development and David Roberts, Chair of the RFU Community Game Board.

The meetings are your opportunity to discuss the current state of the game in England, what future investment and focus in the game looks like and to ask any questions you may have. 

There will be 12 in-person sessions taking place around the country, as well as 6 virtual sessions. 

To ensure as many member organisations as possible are represented, attendance at these sessions will be for two representatives per RFU member organisation.
