The Second XVs successful resurgence

The Second XV where to start

Coming into the season the club had aspirations of growing the squad in order to be able to field a second XV on a number of occasions throughout the season

Little did we know come the end of it we would have fielded a second team on 15 separate occasions!

This far exceeded our targets and was a shining light in local community rugby as other teams reported dwindling squad numbers

This is largely due to the work of second team captain James Ryan who countless times had to muster the troops together along with the help of Simon French

We now look to the 23/24 season where with larger squad and promising group of colts we are aiming to be in a merit table to have a full set of fixtures for the season to target!
